The Perspective of Good and Bad

When we aspire to live our lives according to a knowledge of "good" and "bad", we set ourselves up to ultimately fall short of our full potential and likely expose ourselves to uncertainty, confusion, and futile arguments over what is "good" and what is "bad". This is simply due to the fact that both terms "good" and "bad" are adjectives...adjectives are subjective...subjective things are potentially clouded by the idiosyncrasies of each and every individual.

The better perspective to live our lives by (and to gauge it) is a focus on the amount of love that we put in everything we do and the consistency by which we do this. There are no grey areas with true love...only black and white...you either do something with love or you don't. In this arena, no person is capable of determining the presence and degree of love in the actions of another person and thus, is in no position to make a fair and correct judgement of action...only God can. It is not our business to judge anyway...it is our business to love and to love greatly.

In all our relationships (especially the ones we value and wish to maintain), we will have more successful outcomes if we can manage to resist our natural inclination (programming) to judge the actions of those whom we wish to have fulfilling relationships with. If we do find ourselves casting judgment, then judge with charity and love.
