2033

This is a play on a thought...nothing more, nothing less. So just enjoy (the thought process) without getting too wrapped up with the logically integrity of it all, okay? LOL.

Let's start with this passage from scripture - "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day." (2 Peter 3:8).

Now think of the death of Jesus as a departure from this world and His resurrection as His coming back to the world. So Jesus "came back" sometime during the beginning of the third day. In similar manner will it most likely be with the SCC (Second Coming of Christ) whereby Jesus will come back again to this world sometime in the beginning of the third "thousand years" after He ascended to Heaven and departed.

If we use the year 33 AD (the approximate year when Jesus departed) as our reference point, then the beginning of the third "day" (thousand years) is 2033. The Chinese should love this year since the digits add up to the number eight. Following this thought process, we can conclude that the SCC will most likely occur shortly after this year.

Having shared that, I need to stress that this is all in good fun and that it is not our business to try to predict when the end times will be because when we put focus on this, we divert from the proper focus of our minds which is on loving God more and more.
